Pastor Steve Small Jr. is a man who has faced many trials on the road preaching the Word of God. Realizing the calling on his life helped keep him focused on the ultimate goal, even when it meant standing alone.
He attended Miles College where he received a BA in Religious Education and a Master’s Degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Counseling and Human Services. His education hasn’t stopped as he embraces every opportunity to better prepare himself.
Under Pastor Small’s leadership, True Life Missionary Baptist Church has continued steady growth. The Lord continues to send families who eagerly witness for Christ, while supporting the mission of the church.
