I was born in Wilcox County, Alabama, to the union of Aaron and Doris Robinson. I am the 9th of 12 children blessed to be raised in this God-fearing home where I began my Christian journey. I gave my life to Christ at the early age of 9 and was baptized and united the Boling Springs Baptist Church in Catherine, Alabama. There, I served in many capacities, Sunday School Secretary, Sunday School Teacher, and delegate for the Sunday School BTU Congress at Selma University.
God has blessed my life with three wonderful, devoted children.
I am a product of the Wilcox County School System, graduating from Pine Hill High. I furthered my education by attending Southern Business College where I received an Associate Degree in Business Management and I continued to pursue my education in Accounting at the University of Alabama, Birmingham.
My professional journey includes CRC Insurance, St. Vincent’s Hospital, and I have recently embarked upon a new journey with the Birmingham Veterans Affairs Hospital as an Advanced Medical Support Specialist.
I have devoted my life to God in true worship and desire to be used to motivate, inspire, and encourage others. My journey has recently led me to unite in Holy Matrimony with Reverend Steve Small, Jr. It is an honor to serve as True Life’s First Lady. This unique position allows me to encourage, pray with, and support the man entrusted to lead and shepherd this congregation.
As I continue to travel my journey, I will continue to love God with all my heart, mind, soul, and provide strength, and to love and support to my husband as he continues to follow God. I am so grateful and humbled that God has ordered my steps and I was acceptable to endure the journey.
